Anonymous asked: I have to do a blood test in week or so and I was wondering what are the things I actually have to eat to be healthy and good. I don't think I'm doing everything bad. I eat veggies, fruits everyday. And meat, fish every second day or so. And I haven't touched any junk food for a while, but I still wonder. Any main things I need in my body?
Answer:
What you eat before a blood test won’t really affect the results, especially since you’re supposed to fast 12 or so hours beforehand anyway. I’d say if you eat like that normally, your blood work should come back pretty healthy! Just make sure you’re drinking lots of water as well, and eating minimal saturated/trans fat and high-sodium foods!
